Thank you for considering St Michael and All Angels as your child's primary school. It is a hugely important decision.

St Michael and All Angels CEVA School has a hugely committed team, amazing children and support staff.

The needs of the children are always paramount in the life and decision making within a school. I strongly believe in providing the children with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences, which build their enthusiasm for learning and help them to grow and develop positively in a variety of ways.  One of the ways is encouraging the children to develop a “growth mindset.” 

I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their education. I am also keen on building a whole school community which thrives on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents really is in order for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key educators in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about the school.

In 2022 , there were 26 applications with 30 places available. 

Applications for reception class September 2023

Online Applications for primary school places September 2023 are now open.  You can apply on line through the link provided below.

The closing date for applications is 15th January 2023.

If for any reason you would like your child to move from their current school to attend St Michael and All Angels please please complete the in year admissions form below and contact the school office to make an appointment .

The dates for the Lancashire Church of England VA primary schools are shown in the document attached.  You will need to select the area in the timetable for our school.
