Autumn Harvest
We have loved discovering different signs of Autumn around our school. In Autumn there is an explosion of colour and we have enjoyed exploring different ways of being creative and celebrating God’s wonderful world.
There are lots of different ways we give thanks at Harvest time. We enjoyed talking to Julie our resident gardener to learn about the fruits and vegetables growing in our allotment. We thought about our favourite foods and why we liked them and then wrote simple Harvest prayers. We particularly enjoyed singing and dancing to the song “Autumn Harvest” You can find it on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UozCncP_SYA
We also took part in a special Harvest Worship with Sam Johnson, an important person from the Diocese. We gave thanks by offering our Harvest gifts to God, singing and praying.
