Bear Hunt
Everyone enjoyed going on a “Bear Hunt” in Reception. We loved acting and retelling the story using language from the book. We created our own story maps by sequencing the different parts of the journey, and enjoyed being authors creating our own Bear Hunt books. During choosing time we were able to draw, paint and collage different parts of the story and loved using the bee bots to visit the “thick oozy mud” and the “swirling whirling snowstorm!” We also had fun using musical instruments to add sound effects to the story and even went on our own Bear Hunt around school!
