Creative writing 'Wow' week. Beast Detectives
On Monday 4th March, various beasts from the novel ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ visited the Year 5 classroom. When the children entered the classroom at the end of playtime, it was immediately obvious that something very strange had happened! Although the beasts were nowhere to be seen, there was lots of evidence of their presence left behind from rainbow coloured scales to pink tentacles! The children worked in role as ‘Beast Detectives’ in an attempt to use the clues to work out which beasts had been present. Each pupil drew sketches and made notes.
