Hello Reception,

I hope that you are all well, and have been trying to do some of the online learning. A special well done to all of our class members who have been learning online in our  zoom phonics meetings where we have been learning about the ur, ow and oi digraphs. Fantastic effort this week from Jack Stevenson and Isaac, you are both Phonics superstars! Thank you so much to all the Mums and Dads for helping you to do your learning each week.

 Another busy week in class, we have been learning all about monsters. We had lots of fun designing monster traps, and painting some fantastic monster pictures. We have also been learning about the phonemes ur, ow and oi and have been enjoying making different recipes in the mud kitchen.

I have put plenty of new learning on the school website, for you to access next week.  Or you can pop into school to collect a work pack from the office each week. I look forward each week to hear from you all so please e-mail me at reception@st-michaelangels.lancs.sch.uk

It has been an absolute pleasure to teach you all this year, and I will miss you when you move on to Year One. I would like to wish you all lots of luck, and I can`t wait to see all your good learning in Year One next year. I am sure Miss Baines will let you pop back to show me sometimes.

Mrs. Braddock, Mrs Handley and Miss Nayla also want to say a big well done to you all for being a super Reception class this year.
