Good Morning Year 3
Hello Year 3
Good morning Year 3. Hope you are all well and still working hard at home for your grown-ups.
I have put some new work for you to complete on the Home Learning page for Year 3 - I hope you manage to complete some of this and I look forward to seeing what you have done when we get back to school. If you are finding these tricky, don't worry! You could try the Home Learning from the previous year groups. All the work in English this week is based around ‘Be Healthy and Happy’. Hopefully, you have remembered lots about this from our topic ‘Healthy Humans’ in the Autumn Term. You can email photographs to our class email and I can post them on the website. I hope you enjoy it. We are starting our ‘Zoom’ maths lessons this week and the learning is all about fractions. Don’t worry if you haven’t already agreed to take part, just ask your grown-up to send me an email and I can get you involved. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan.
I know learning at home can be tricky and it is not the same as being at school but please keep trying your best for your grown-ups – I am very proud of you all and the hard work and effort you are putting in.
Thank you to everyone who has been in touch and sent me pictures of what they have been up to. I really enjoy looking at your work and photographs.
A big well done to Emily who has taken part in a World Record for the largest online art lesson. She has received a certificate to confirm that they have broken the World Record! She also drew a super picture of Robin Hood which I have included in the blog pictures. Also a big well done to James – he has been working really hard on his English this week and has even typed his story up. I can’t wait to read it James!
I would still love to hear from you all and see what you have been up to.
If your grown-ups allow it, please leave me your comments and any questions you may have on our blog. You could also send me an email letting me know what you have been up to – I would love to hear from you. Ask a grown up to photograph some of your work and attach the pictures into an email. year3@st-michaelangels.lancs.sch.uk
Please remember about Times Table Rockstars. You can go on Times Tables Rock Stars this week, between 10:00-10:30 each day. Go on ‘arena’ during these times and you can play against your class mates. I have completed all the challenges you have sent me and I have sent some more challenges out. I can see some big improvements in the speed you are answering questions which is fantastic. My rock star name is Ace Lily if you would like to send me another challenge.
I am missing you all and can't wait to see some of you on Zoom later on today.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Keep safe!
Love from Mrs Coffey
