Good Morning Year 3

Hello Year 3

Good morning Year 3. Hope you all have had a lovely weekend and are keeping safe.

I have put some new work for you to complete on the Home Learning page for Year 3 - I hope you manage to complete some of these and I look forward to seeing what you have done when we get back to school. If you are finding these tricky, don't worry! You could try the Home Learning from the previous year groups. All the work in English this week is based around the book ‘Flat Stanley’. You can email photographs to our class email and I can post them on the website.  I hope you enjoy it. In Maths we are looking at time. The grammar focus this week is identifying, generating and using adverbs.

I would still love to hear from you all and see what you have been up to. Thank you to all those children who have been in touch – it was lovely to hear from you and see what you have been up to. If your grown-ups allow it, please leave me your comments and any questions you may have on our blog. You could also send me an email letting me know what you have been up to – I would love to hear from you. Ask a grown up to photograph some of your work and attach the pictures into an email.  Thank you to all the children who have sent me pictures. I am going to add all the pictures to our Year 3 blog.

Congratulations to Blake and Imogen who have both had a new arrival at their homes during lockdown. Imogen is now a proud big sister to Charlotte who was born on 16th April and weighed 6lb and 13oz. Blake is also a proud big brother to baby Novah who was born on Monday 27th April. I hope you are enjoying lots of cuddles.

I also thought it would be fun for you to go on Times Tables Rock Stars this week, between 10:00-10:30 each day, so that you can play against your class mates and possibly even me! My rock star name is Ace Lily. We need to log on and go into the arena.

I am missing you all and can't wait to see your smiling faces.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Keep safe!

Love from Mrs Coffey
