Good Morning Year 4
Hello Year 4.
Hope you all have had a brilliant week even though the weather has been dreadful. I watched the storms the other night. I like watching storms.
I have put some new work for you to complete on the Home Learning page for Year 4 - I hope you manage to complete some of these and I look forward to seeing what you have done when we get back to school. If you are finding these tricky, don't worry! You could try the Home Learning from the previous year groups.
All the work in English this week is based around Water.
Once you have finished send me some pictures of your writing/work. Make sure you get permission and help from a grown-up. You can email your work to our class email and I can post them on the website. I hope you enjoy it.
In Maths we are looking at fractions and decimals – again!. There are tasks to look at focusing on fractions comparing decimals and fractions of a quantity. If you want to join an online session, just get a parent to email me. I’ll be doing them Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is an additional file for your parents to read, to help you join the zoom meeting.
The grammar focus this week is fact and opinions.
I would still love to hear from you all and see what you have been up to. Thank you to all those children who have been in touch – it was lovely to hear from you and see what you have been up to. If your grown-ups allow it, please leave me your comments and any questions you may have on our blog. You could also send me an email letting me know what you have been up to – I would love to hear from you. Ask a grown up to photograph some of your work and attach the pictures into an email. year4@st-michaelangels.lancs.sch.uk I could share these on the website under ‘latest news’ so we can see what everyone has been up to.
I am missing you all and can't wait to see your smiling faces.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Keep safe!
Love from Mr Doe
