In history this term we are learning all about The Great Fire of London. It has been very interesting so far, learning about where and when the fire started, how they put the fire out and what they used to extinguish the fire. Can you remember any amazing facts from class? Who wrote a diary about it?

In D&T we have been looking at mechanisms, so far we have made a sliding firework, a clock with moving parts and a lift the flap picture with items from now under one flap, and items that Jesus may have had under another.

We enjoyed making the sliding picture so we made a scene from The Great Fire of London to show how the people used boats to escape across the River Thames.
