Groovy Greeks
This week the children had a fabulous time on Groovy Greek Day.
They participated in a range of fun activities including, designing and making a Greek comedy or tragedy mask using paper sculpture techniques. The girls prepared a Greek feast while the boys competed in various Olympic events on the school field. The children also painted their clay pots using
Greek patterns. Their work will be on display in the entrance hall at the start of September. The teachers would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents for costuming the children.
The day was a great success!
