Peace at Last
We all enjoyed the big book “Peace at Last!” It was lots of fun wearing the “magic spotter glasses,” as they helped everyone to look very carefully at the pictures and notice every detail! We used props, pictures and actions to help us remember the story and it was AMAZING how well everyone could retell the story orally. We created a huge story map by sequencing the different events, and even added speech bubbles to remind us of what Mr Bear kept saying, “Oh no I can’t stand this!” During choosing time there were lots of different activities we could try from writing in our own speech bubble to counting bears or playing a listening lotto.
