Roald Dahl Day 2019
Year 2 have been learning all about Roald Dahl, focusing especially on one of his most famous books; The BFG. On Roald Dahl day the children came dressed as a character from a Roald Dahl book. We had lots of Matildas, crocodiles, fantastic Mr Foxes and a couple of Oompa Loompas! We read and watched the Dream chapter of the book then we talked about our own dreams for the future. We then painted our own dream jars using lots of brightly coloured paints and glitter. Finally we stuck our dreams onto our dream jars and they are displayed outside of our classroom.
