The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Everyone enjoyed mapping out the story and orally retelling it using key language and phrases from the book. There were many opportunities to respond to the story through art, music, dance and imaginative and sensory play and the children were able to choose which areas of learning they wanted to explore. Through the story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” we were able to talk about and develop an understanding of simple lifecycles.
