World Book Day 2023 EYFS

 

The children in Reception enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities for World Book Day. They all came to school dressed as their favourite book character and enjoyed taking part in a whole school assembly.  We really liked the book quiz!  In class, the children based their learning around the book ‘Aliens love Underpants’, by Claire Freedman.  We all helped to decorate our classroom door with the different Aliens and patterned underpants! We wrote sentences about different parts of the story. The children also made bookmarks, played ‘I spy the fairytale character’ and coloured their favourite fairytale characters.
