World Book Day

From Harry Potter to Fantastical Beasts , Year 5 had a wonderful day dressing as their favourite book characters!

The day began with a ‘role call’ and a ‘photoshoot’ and then we welcomed children from Year 1 to come and share their books and stories.

An afternoon of activities followed with children making their own bookmarks, reviewing their favourite books, writing letters to their favourite characters and, of course, reading extracts from our much loved books!

A Live performance of Macbeth in the morning and a film about our class book rounded off the day perfectly!
